Youth Sailing Camp is a week-long course. Youth sailors ages 5-17 are welcome. Activities will be designed to cater to each individual student, and instructors will place campers into the appropriate activities based on their skills and experience. Everyone is welcome!
Adult Daysailer is taught at Saylorville Lake on our Catalina 27. This 15 hour weekend long course will teach basic sailing skills on a large daysailer. Our boat is conveniently docked in a slip at Saylorville Marina
This three day course runs from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (with a 1 hr lunch break) on Saturday and Sunday. We will spend about 5 hours on classroom instruction and 10 hours on the water. You will have the opportunity at every position on the boat from skipper to jib trimmer and everything in between.
Adult Small Boat is taught at Saylorville Marina Precision 15s. This is a 15 hour weekend course that teaches basic sailing skills on small boats.
You will learn sailing terminology, rigging & derigging a boat, knot tying, stopping and starting a boat, leaving and returning to the beach or dock, tacking and jibing, capsize and overboard recovery.
This three day course runs from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (with a 1 hr lunch break) on Saturday and Sunday. We will spend about 3 hours on classroom instruction, 3 hours on land drills, and 9 hours on the water.
