Adult Small Boat Sailing Class

This class is for the "Young at heart" starting at 18 years old.  It is a fun class, learning all the elements of our Adult sailing program but taught on a smaller boat perfectly suited for the real "hands on" sailing  experience to get a better feel of the boat, the water and the wind.   This course does include a capsize recovery lesson which gives the students more confidence after learning this important skill about safety.

Each class will be adjusted for each group of students per class.  This gives a variety of options to learn sailing basics, terminology, proper knot tying, how to stop/start a boat, tacking, jibing, getting out of irons, man overboard all while having fun in a safe environment.

Thursday, July 21   5:00 pm - 8:00 pm    Intro to sailing

Friday, July 22        9:00 am - 12:00pm  Learn basic skills!   

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm   Lunch Break

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm     Sailing is fun!

Saturday July 23     9:00 am - 12:00pm    Review and improve!

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm     Free sail option 

4:00 pm  Return to dock and celebrate!
